CONSTABLE (RADIO
OPERATOR) AGAINST
SPECIAL RECRUITMENT
DRIVE FOR SC/ST AND OBC.
LAST DATE: 28/02/2013.
HEAD CONSTABLE (RADIO
OPERATOR): 430Nos. (OBC—
82; SC—233; ST—115). Out of
total, 10% is reserved for Ex-
Serviceman.
Qualification: Matriculation or
equivalent with 2yrs of ITI
Certificate in Radio and TV or
Electronics or Intermediate
OR Higher Secondary (10+2)
with Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics
Age Limits: between 18yrs to
28yrs in case of OBC candidates
(18yrs – 30yrs in case of SC/ST)
as on last date of application.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200
and Grade pay: Rs.2400/- per
month plus other allowances.
Selection of the candidates will
be through Written Test,
Documentation/ PST/ PET/
Dictation Test/ Interview and
Final Medical test.
Written Test will be on 24th
march 2013. Qualified candidates
will be called for further steps.

Physical Standards of
Candidates:—
For Male Candidates: Height—
168cms; Chest (Unexpanded/
Expanded) – 80cms/85cms;
Weight—Corresponding to
Height.
For Female Candidates: Height—
157cms; Height—Corresponding
to Height.
Cut-off in Height and Chest
measurement for the candidates
of Hilly regions and ST/Adivasis
is as per norms (Refer Advt.,
Link given below)
Medical Standards:—
Eye Sight : 6/6 and 6/9 of the
both eyes without correction in
minimum distant vision.
Candidates must not have
knock-knees, Flat feet or squint
in eyes and must not have
physical defect/ deformity.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) —
For Male candidates:—
Race of 1.6 Km in 6.5 minutes
Long Jump of 11 ft in 3 chances.
High Jump of 3 and half feet in 3
chances
For Female Candidates: —
Race of 800 mtrs in 4 minutes
9 ft long jump in 3 chances.
3ft High Jump in 3 chances.
N. B: No Physical Efficiency Test
(PET) for Ex-Serviceman.
Dictation Test will in English
which will be of 10marks and
Personal Interview of 25 marks.
Finally candidates will be go
Medical examination for fitness
test.

15 % of the vacancies are
reserved for women. In case
suitable women candidates are
not available then the vacancies
will be filled by suitable male
candidates.
Qualification Required:
Intermediate or 10+2 from
recognized Board/ University.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to
25yrs as on 01-08-2012. Upper
age relaxation for OBC—3yrs;
SC/ST—5yrs. Ex-Serviceman and
Others—as per Govt. norms.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—20200 with
Grade pay: Rs.2400/- per
month.

Marathas and candidates

Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh,

Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal
Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh &
Ladakh regions of J&K is as per

Candidates must be physically fit.
Candidates must not have Knock
knee, Flat Foot, Squint in eyes or
Varicose vein and they should
possess high colour vision. They
must be in good mental and
bodily health and free from any
physical defect likely to interfere
with the efficient performance of
the duties.
The recruitment will be done on
All India Basis. The selected
candidates will be posted any
where in India.
Selection of the candidates will
be through Height and Weight
Measurement, Written
Examination,  Computer skill test
and Medical examination.
Written Examination will be
Objective type question on
General Intelligence, GK,
General English or Hindi and
Arithmetic.
Computer test will be English
typing of 35 words per minute
and 30 words pm in Hindi typing.
